I was born in Geelong of Polish immigrants who arrived in Australia in 1950.
My youngest memories of my parents instilling my Polish heritage were the traditional festivities celebrated throughout the year. I attended Polish school to give me some basic reading and writing skills and then in my late teens I was involved with learning traditional polish folk dancing with numerous other teens of Polish heritage.
After qualifying and working as a Civil Engineer for over 30 years, I now do voluntary work for the Multicultural Aged Care Services and the Australian Multicultural Community Services.
I have been a member of the PCA Committee of Management since 2015.
